Monolith Soft has officially come forward to confirm its involvement with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2.
The company posted about the news on social media. Monolith Soft says it “handled partial contract development of the game design, programming, and graphics.”
Monolith Soft can also be found in the title’s credits. The company is listed in the “special thanks” section.
Previous rumors suggested that Monolith Soft was behind the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. For the most part, that was inaccurate. The project was largely handled by Nintendo internally – specifically Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 3.
We’ve also since found out about major developers involved with the title. These include producers Eiji Aonuma and Hidemaro Fujibayashi, director HokWai Ng, programmer Hiroki Taguchi, artist Aya Shida, and composer Masato Ohashi.
Additionally, earlier today, the game’s complete list of voice actors has been revealed. We have the entire lineup for all of the different languages.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be available worldwide tomorrow, November 5.
