• AYN launched Odin 3 Portal last month with some impressive specifications, including a massive 9,000mAh battery.
• The brand also claimed 60W fast charging, but has since changed its stance.
• The Odin 3 Portal instead comes with 45W charging, which is less than what the previous flagship Odin 3 supports.

Last month, AYN launched a new flagship gaming handheld — the Odin 3 Portal, packed with premium components and high-quality physical controls. These include a non-cellular Snapdragon 8 Elite variant, a 7-inch OLED display, a massive 9,000mAh battery, and a fan to keep the internals cool.

At launch, AYN also promised 60W fast charging, but now appears to be backtracking, calling it a mistake. In an update recently shared on its official Discord server, AYN confirmed that the Odin 3 Portal’s charging speed would be capped at 45W, instead of the 60W previously advertised.
